How is Glass Tile Flooring Installed?

What can you expect on installation day? Here is Champion Floor's process for installing mosaic glass tile flooring.

Your contractor will begin by flattening any ridges on the floor with the edge of a trowel. Then the mosaic sheet is lightly pressed into the adhesive.

As each sheet is installed, it is positioned to produce grout joints. They are then pressed into the adhesive layer.

After the adhesive is cured, water is used to soak the paper and soften the glue holding the paper to the surface of the tiles.Once it's soaked for a few minutes, the paper can be removed. Lastly, the glass tiles can be grouted and installed.
