The rug features a neutral color palette that works seamlessly with the home’s art collection and architectural elements, adding warmth and texture without competing for attention. It was custom-sized at 16 feet 10 inches by 20 feet 9 inches, ensuring a precise fit within the room.
Made from a blend of wool and silk, the rug offers both durability and a soft, refined finish underfoot, making it well suited for a space designed for comfort and relaxation.
The rug design was created by Faith Berger Art and custom-produced by The Art Rug, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece tailored to the home.
A Thoughtful Approach to Custom Rug Installation
For a rug of this size, the installation process is just as important as the design. Before delivery, our team rolled the rug out in our St. Louis showroom to complete a full quality and specification inspection. This allows us to confirm dimensions, materials, and craftsmanship prior to bringing the rug into the home.
Once approved, the rug was carefully transported to the homeowner’s property for the final unveil and installation. Our installation team ensured precise placement and alignment within the space.
We also installed custom rug pad edges, cut on site to match the rug’s exact dimensions. This step enhances comfort, stability, and long-term performance, particularly in a high-use room like a home theater.
